Jeff:

I want one of those bubble domes but I'll have to wait until my new credit card arrives. The one that I have just expired---waiting to receive an updated one.

How big are the domes (in inches)? Can I get 2 hands inside to work?

Dale...

Bois,

The dome is 21 inches across (approximately).
The opening is 11 inches wide by 7 inches high. I would say you could get both hands in to work, yes.

The 11x7 is not square though, it's rounded, so approximate.

Just thought I would add that.

Jeff,

Just wanted to ask a few more questions before deciding on purchasing one.

1) Has anybody been using these on vertical fleet truck shields? Is suction adequate for this type of application?

2) How durable is bubble if accidently dropped or simply just falls off shield? I know it would definately suffer scuffs being that it's plastic but is it prone to cracking easily?

3) Will it provide an effective water seal while working in light to moderate rain conditions?

Thanks for any feeback;)

Sorry Starquest..Didn't see this message :(

These shields work great on vertical repairs.

Other than possible scuffs, dropping these won't hurt them. They are very soft and pliable so they can conform to curved glass.

They should provide an effective water seal in light to moderate rain, but heavy, probably not.

Thanks Jeff,

That's what I like about you! Ask a question and get a honest reply;)

Not that I enjoy working in the rain but after this winter in Michigan have alot of ground to make up. I think your product will help me accomplish that. If this works for us I'll probably order a few more!

Jeff, Do you price match or offer a lower price if one of your competitors has your Bubble Dome for sale cheaper than your introductory special? I was just wondering because the Dome sells for $60.00 ( regular price ) at http://www.glassmedic.com. Thanks Chris CWREPAIR
