Can you easily transfer data from ACT 2000 to ACT 6.0 or later version without having to input all the data again? Secondly, can you synchronize data from ACT 6.0 or later to an older Handsring PDA? I am thinking of upgrading if you can do these two things. It would be extremely helpful to be able to carry all of this info around with me on my PDA.

0Hunter,
You can definitely upgrade from ACT 2000 to ACT 6.0 without reinputting data.
Not sure on the PDA thing though.

It's useful to many types of businesses. Truthfully though, I don't know many windshield repair techs that use it.

There is a PDA transfer software package you can buy .. however it might be for palm OS 5.1 or higher .. you just need to check the specs .. maybe you can even tryot buy an older version of the ACT transfer software that will still work with the newer ACT desktop software .. long shot but call ACT and ask their tech guysif it will work .. it should really.
