I currently use Glass comp for my billing, just fax it over to them and they do the rest. How do you guys and gals handle your billing? I am not interested in ACT... I ran a edi search and didnt come up with much...
Thanks Johnnyone

I also use GlassComp for Lynx customers and have been extremely satisfied.

I of course don't need their service for Safelite, since I can go online to submit those.

It was a snap to get set up and FREE and is a huge savings from faxing it directly to Lynx. ($7.50 per invoice using Lynx VS $2.25 per invoice using Glasscomp)

Hope this helps!

Sallyu--

I use datatranz. Same price of $2.25.

Beats the heck out of $7.50!

Safelite does not charge you for online invoicing. It is really easy. You need to check make/model/year of vehicle and add the agreed upon labor for the paticular insurance company. It is really self explainatory once you start entering. I did have to fax them an invoice for a motorhome which was not listed in their automating invoicing. They did not charge me a fee because it was not possible to online invoice the motorhome.

Hope that helps,

dingmedic,
When you say Safelite, are you refering to Safelite Solutions? A web address would be helpful. How do they compare to A.C.T.?

JohnnyOne,
Safelite does not charge for billing online. So long as you are registered with them and have a "shop number".

No Safelite does not charge you, which is why I don't need to use Glasscomp for Safelite submissions. Dingmedic is correct about the ease of use when invoicing online. Even when you mistype the VIN number the system lets you know that it is incorrect before you submit the invoice. Please make sure though that you have all the info. on the make model on the vehicle, ie, super cab, verses standard, 2D or 4D, etc.

Good Luck,
Sally
