Yes I remove scratches from WS's and any other glass surface. I have used in the past the Novus, GT(3M), GlasWeld, and Glass Mechanix, and a few leser known ones. All will work to some degree. The GT system is the fastest since it uses abrasives, the GW and GM systems are virtually identical(except for price), and are slow to say the least. The Novus system is mid pack but expensive and difficult to use(many buckets, hoses, ect, ect. Currently I am using my own system and it's working very well, it is comprised of a center water feed grinder and diamond abrasives, a 12" long .015" deep scratch takes about 20 mins start to finish(on a WS I don't do deep scratches due to the distortion it can cause, but side glass, and buildings I will do that deep). All systems use abrasives, all systems remove glass, all systems have the potential to distort(practice), and all system create heat( a potential danger if the WS is unstable). Glass scratch removal is not for eveyone, it take patience, a certain "touch", and contrary to WR repair is actual work(physical labour), but can be profitable with the righ equipment and training/practice.
Merci

Listen to Yvan,
If you can, run away from scratch-removal.

Dennis
Thanks for the words of confidence
Next time you come up my way let me know and I will show you my new toys.
You may no longer want to run away, although Scratch removal will always be labour intensive unlike Ws repair, which is PR intensive. I charge $90 per hour for cars and $120 for buildings(cars are actually more work, but the building trades are happy to pay that amount, so why not).
Merci
