I found a great little knife at Home Depot. It's made by a company called Klein Tools and is called a cable splicer knife. It works great for trimming the old urethane for a new bead.

Hey! I have one of those..... but I only use it to splice cables;) Not to make fun of this product for urethane cutouts but you'll have to re-sharpen it often if your using it daily. Best thing I've found to date cutting out old urethane is your basic long knife with a new blade replacement every 2-3 shields. I have other razor sharp pinchwell scraping tools made by equilzer but to be totally honest, they snap way to often. That gets a little costly.

Jeff,

I'm impressed....you shared some glass replacement info;)

Less "glass replacement" info, and more "search around on the internet til you find it" info! Wanted to see what it looked like! ;)

Yes, that's the one. I resharpen every so often but it stays extremely sharp.

So with all those fancy gadgets out there to cut out the windshield a good sharp knife is all you need .. what is your experience with the cold knife, any good? Whats better? Thanks for the info.

Our shop has a set of these.

They work awesome if you can keep em sharp. But I am file challenged and cannot get the hang of sharpening a double edged horseshoe shaped blade.
