Marketing Conference Call

I have a few people interested in asking some training questions and instead of talking to everyone individually I figured I would try to set up a conference call where we could all chat together and make an evening of it. I don't know exactly how to do this but I am sure there are tons of conference call places on the net so I will figure one out. What I want to do is get a head count of who wants to be on the call. I have given it some serious thought and have determined that the quality and seriousness of the people attending the call will be greatly increased if there is a $7 charge to cover call expenses and so forth. if something is free you get alot of people who aren't serious about the business just poking their head in for fun. I am not looking to make money on this so if you are in a position where you really want to go but can't pay the $7 then just contact me on my cell phone (503) 750-4567 and I will let you in for free if you really want to give this business a shot.

Ok I have ben researching it and if I do an 800# and it is a 2 hour conference with questions and answers and such it will cost closer to $10 per person but there wil be no long distance charges since I will be paying for an 800# for everyone. I will email or fax everyone who signs up the seminar notes prior to the call so we can all be on the same page during the whole call.

If you want to attend the call please leave a message on this post stating you want to come and I suppose we can do paypal for the charge. When we get a few people on the list we will talk about a time and date. Obviously there is no charge until time and date is set and you will have the full notes prior to the call happening.

Hope to see you there ;)

Brian,

I checked out the website you sent.

Looks like you can do free conference calls on there, as long as it's not a toll free number. That would probably be a better scenario, since a lot of people have free long distance on their cell phones.

Seems that would be a lot easier than trying to get paypal from everyone, etc.

Good idea, and thanks for being willing to share your knowledge with people!

I saw that but like you said it is a long distance number and it might take up to 2 hours. That's alot of cell phone minutes. It is up to you guys though. If everyone wants to do it that way we can and then it would be free.... since after 7pm pacific I get free cell minutes and I always have free long distance. My concern is that everyone will have poor reception .... but we can discuss the manner of doing this once we get some interest. Like I said in the original I am not stuck on a single idea. I just want to get some ideas flowing :)

sounds good to me. Im willing to do the long distance # thing if thats what it takes its worth it. Also I can do a conference call from my work phone up to 12 people. that would be free for everyone since I would be calling everybody from here to set up the call. this would have to be done fairly early in the evening between 5-7pm cst. just let me know.

I would be interested in participating. Do you have an agenda. You might give it some thought. I would like to know more about long crack repair, use of crack spreaders, trapped air in repairs, signing up/using the networks. You get the idea. You might collect some topics ahead of time. Just a suggestion, but if you could plan time to spend on each subject, then facilitate the discussion and monitor the time, it could be a very productive conference. Thank you for coming up with the idea. I can tell from your previous posts, you have a lot of information that you want to share with the not so experienced, like me. If the call doesn't work out, could we exchange thoughts through email? Thanks. Ben

The call will be focused on marketing such as how to find a tent location, how to sell at a tent location, how to do fleets and other marketing ideas. We can all share and I have a complete outline of my usual marketing training seminar that people pay $150 for. This will be essentially the same seminar just over the phone and without the visual ;)
After the normal seminar we can discuss some of the technique stuff if you like.
