Hello,,
I am wondering if most of you use tinted resins and when? I have tried them in some areas but didn't really seem to make much difference in end results. I would rather not use them if its not necessary.
thanks
Jeff

Never used them in 18 years in most cases it is the pvb which is tinted not the glass. But then again I only treat this job like a game so I am sure someone will disagree with me.
2 days of heat over here I even done a repair which did not need drying out cannot remeber the last one of those I did.

Thanks,, I'll see what others say but I don't think I will need them often if at all.

Not nessecary, but will help a litle bit on star breaks. The tinting of the resin acts with the colour of the interior and or exterior to help camouflage the legs of a star. The difference is minor(so is the tinting) but if it helps make the fussiest of customers happy, then why not. As others have mentioned this topic has been through the ringer once or twice, but if you are like me seaches are very time consuming(the closest I get to high speed is running to the computer once the page has eventually loaded, the joy's of country living) so if you want more info on how and where I use them e-mail me .
Merci

Thanks,, I hate doing searches when it is just easier to ask and get fresh answers and many times from new people on the forum. Thanks for not doing like some and saying SEARCH LOL.
thanks
