I have started this thread for the sole purpose of helping out techs who have been having problems with certian companies, or have questions about a company's ease of processing, or even how usefull their csr's are...some are better than others.
But it is not limited to just that...

Ask Away!!!

Hope to hear from you guys soon...I will try to respond as soon as I can.

In another thread Jeff said those people who sign up for ACT through Delta get two dollars off the fee. At least I think thats what he wrote. Is this true? Only people who sign up through delta get this discount?
I have been with ACT since Jan. this year but signed up on my own.
Just wondering what the whole story was. BTW I havent had a bad experience with ACT yet. I think everyone there does a good job. :eusa_clap

yes I think I did see something about the delta accounts getting lowered to 12.95...but if you sign up with A.C.T. and call in claims to the insurance company and get the auth # before you call us it drops the price per claim to 7.95...it is called pre-authorized...there have been a few posts of techs who use this method...however it takes more time and can be more of a headach then if you let A.C.T. do the work...but anyway it is up to you. :)

Code3wsr,

I didn't mean that ONLY people who sign up through us get the discount. I really don't know who gets it and who doesn't. I just wanted to inform our customers of the change.

Also, the $7.95 deal works through us too...Definitely a good way to save money.

Okay, back to ACT questions! :)

What exactly is A.C.T. doing for $7.95. I still don't understand the need for this.

As far as I'm concerned ACT is taking away my headache. Now I only do 3-5 insurance jobs a week so it works better for me than having to call, fax, enter info on a web site....... All I do is hit the speed dial on my cell phone and give it to the coustomer then in about two weeks I get money in my bank acct.
It's easy to do for us lazy people. however, if I did alot, like 10 or more, of ins. jobs a week I would sign up with the networks and online bill. But for now this suits me fine.

I get the 14.95(12.95), they handle the call with the networks. A bit pricey, but dealing with those csrs is a pain. What I don't understand is doing all the legwork and giving them 7.95 for sending the bill in.

Adam, I've been very frustrated with American Express/ NSite Solutions. My experience receiving payment is over 90 days on multiple invoices. Is this typical? Currently I fax direct to them. Thanks, Steve.
