Has anyone heard anything pertaining to ALLSTATE no longer waiving deductibles? An employee at a local Allstate office just told me they would not be waiving the deductible much longer.

Don't dispare, just think, no more problems with ACT, Safelite, Metrix, ....... The end of insured WS's is the best thing that could happen(along with an association) to our profession. The customer faced with a $400 replacement or a $50 repair is more likely to chose the latter.
Merci

I did talk to tony with act yesterday and he said state farm is only adding a deductible to five states. as a test he thanks. and has had no info as of yet on Allstate. and none of the above as to take place until December . THE OWNERS AND OPERATORS OF THIS PARAGRAPH ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INACCURATE INFORMATION, just kidding, this is just what the grapevine said...

My gut tells me it isn't going to happen. These hurricanes are doing more damage to the insurance companies than all the windshield repair in the world. Cut rate auto insurance like Old American County Mutual already does not cover chips. There are a bunch of them out there. State Farm and Allstate are not cut rate. They are premium service and their customers expect it.
