Okay can anyone tell me what the contributing factors are for the daisy in the windshield that can only be seen from the inside?

Old damage, too much heat, or too much pressure. A daisy is caused when the resin goes beyond the damaged area into the PVB. Any of the these reasons or any combination of them can cause a daisy.

GFD77, The daisy effect is an issue also because the glass has to be delaminating a but to allow the resin to penatrate that far so determining why can be helpfull to you and your customer. First delamination occur's over time as a result of damage or from the outside to the middle. The sooner a chip is repaired the less it tends to delaminate. You can tell your customers that and they will want to see you earlier in the future. The heat factor is an issue too, if your applying heat back off or use no heat at all. I was attempting to see what your location is as in different parts of the country you need to use different tacktic to deal with weather issues, so if your in a hot cliamate ease up on the heat or if it has more to do with age of damage and reaction to heat in combination or just heat by itself??? So there you go plenty to chew on huh.... Good luck oh and while it is daisy'ed it will remain stable right...

I felt I had an idea of what I did wrong, however I did not want to lead the question, so you guy's hit the nail on the head, I was trying to compensate for 40 degree weather and the Blazer was in the shade for most of the day so I tried to compensate with some heat but I think the problem was too much pressure, since I always use heat and never had this happen.
Thanks for the info

To my knowledge the daisy effect is caused by too much heat and too much head pressure on the glass so ease up on both of them and it will turn out fine.
