Freinds, yes I am finaly making that jump, to go on my own in the glass business. I have only been at this 5 years and looking for any helpful hints, no I don't know it all and humbly ask for your helpful hints. The way the industry is going here, Pittsburgh, we have had no winter, business is half of what it was a year ago, this is a big leap of faith. We will be up and running by the 2nd week in March. We are small but believe!

Thanks,
Jeff's Auto Glass of Pittsburgh

Dont try to compete on price with the big guys... you'll never win. it's like walmart vs the "mom and pop" 7/11. compete with quality, the big guys do more work at less profit per job and need to do the jobs quickly to make money. set your price dont waiver on quality. there are still plenty of people looking for the personalized attention a small business affords them... just my 2 cents. best wishes.
