Windshield Repair Forum

Hello Everyone,
Saturday I have a windshield repair on a large RV. It has a star break that is about 2 inches away from where the window makes a 90 degree curve into basically a side window. I've never done one this close to the curve. Is there anything I should watch out for, or is this standard operating procedure? Another thing if one is on a curve can it still be repaired? Thanks in advance

No problem, just like every other type of repair anywhere on the screen, be careful how you set the bridge and watch what you are doing at all times. Be confident it is suprising if you are unnerved things are more likely to go wrong.

I would agree with the last post. Seems standard, I might suggest less injector seat pressure if it is in the radius area. Oh! be patient.

The glass seems to be less flexible in the curved area. Another way of saying that is, the break will seem tight there and may be more likely to need to be drilled. Like SGT says, be patient.
