Insurance Question

Alright I have a list from a glass company that I worked for that has 300 insurance companies along with their phone # fax # and the agencies they may deal with... Well I have went through the customers agent and was able to bypass having to deal with the agencies they were affiliated with such as safelite or lynx... My question is, is there a way to keep from having to list my company with lynx and safelite and still be able to get payed? Can I go directly through the insurance company without having to be in their "database of repair techs".
Thanks
Matt

We have done it several times by just calling the insurance company if you don't have their fax number already. We then just fax them an invoice and hope they pay so far no problems at all.

Thanks dude this helps out alot because in north carolina it is state law to list your insurance company with the secretary of insurance jim long so I not only have an up to date list... I also have the phone number and fax number to all legal us insurance numbers if anyone wants the jim long number Ill email it to them... its not just for ppl in nc.. its the most powerfull phone number for a rock chip repairman. So now i dont have to list my business with a single agency

Hey,
Its printed and in a binder but you can compile the list yourself with jim long's phone number.
800-JIM LONG (800-546-5664) - in North Carolina Only
919-733-2032 - outside North Carolina
Although he works for nc it has the phone number to every single insurance agency in the united states and canada because if someone is from out of state and are in an accident here in nc etc....

Here is a tip when you get an insurance companies name from the customer either from their card or their registration call jim long and tell the attendant the name of the company even if you have never heard of it before he has

its great lol.
