I read some good suggestions about the 800 numbers. Can anyone give some ideas that they use to get new customers.

Do you use the Yellow Pages(advertising),or do you hand out flyers, or is it the advertising on your vechicles?

What does it for you?What draws in the most of your customers?

If you are a good talker and are very comfortable with talking with people then just do that and keep a pocket full of business cards on you every where you go.

If you are like me, and find that talking to strangers face to face is just a wee-bit outside your comfort zone... then start talking anyway. It's our job to talk to people and hand out business cards. It's part of our job description - "sort a speak".
