Different types of resins

Can someone break down the different types of resins, and the CPS's for me. I am having a hard time with the pit filler I am using now. It is not glass colored after a repair like it should be. I am seeking other alternatives, and was hoping for a little help. I have both hot, and cold weather here.

Thanks!

its probably not the resin that is different colored but rather the surface of it is rough so it looks cloudy thats where the resin polish comes in and also the reason for back scraping with you blade rather than slicing off the excess.
that said to answer your question the smaller the numbers cps the thinner the resin thinner runs into the break better but is harder to get a tight seal with and doesnt bond as well leaving a failure to be more likely. everyone has there own favorite resin and reason for using it trial and error will help you figure out which one you like best.

So it's better to slice of the remaining resin vs scraping back, and forth?

Scrape off- Do not slice.
