So, when the network says they'll pay $0.00 for additional repairs, we're supposed to to get the money for extra repairs from the customer, right?
USAA says 'Yes.'

It is my understanding that the insurance company is paying a flat fee for all repairs. Since most insurance companies usually pay for up to 3 repairs, I will repair the first 3 for the flat rate. Any additional - I charge the customer.

look at it this way they pay a flat fee for up to 3 repairs sometimes you get away with only doing 1 for the same price and all pay at least $50 so who cares ? a happy customer refers people to you a customer that got squeezed for an extra $20 doesnt think long term

Seldom do I get flat rate referrals with insurance. In my area most will pay for 2-3 additional repairs.
It's really up to you! If you want to charge customer for non-covered repairs...just do it! I doubt many will have a problem with this once you explain everything to them.
Personally, I've never charged for these but always make sure I let customer know they just got a freebie!

They use to pay for 2 and 3 chips but that has seem to gone away. The net works have had something to do with that. Some still do pay for the extra repairs.
If the work is there i don't like to leave any money on the table
