does any one do vin etching at car lot? and do yo do it at alot of lots?Is it good extra income?:eusa_booh

imho vin etching is the biggest rip off that ever entered the auto industry after market. Having spent 20 yrs in auto sales I can tell you a car with etching on the glass is worth much less at the auction than one without. And what does it really do for the customer only a nut would think people steal cars just for the glass when infact the windows are one of the cheapest parts on the car to replace. There are plenty of things to sell a customer that will benifit them without selling them something useless

Just for the discount you get from your insurance companies helps a ton. In california the ins. are required to give a discount for this service. That by itself is awsome.
