I have a question that all windshield repair technitions should know but i cant recall anyone talking or writing about it. If you have a star break How long does a leg extend Before being Concidered A ligitimant crack?

We start at 3" inches for a cash customer. For insurance companies, if the leg or legs extend beyond the void it is considered a crack and they get billed for a crack repair as well as a chip repair.
