Hello again. How much do you charge for fleet accounts, per car & then per chip? I've heard $35.00 per car for the first chip & then $15.00 for each chip in that car's windshield after that. Is this correct? Thanks in advance for the help.

A lot of the guys around here in Detroit charge as little $25.00 for a repair. Most fleet managers & used car managers are cheap and they only want to talk about the bottom line.

At that price I would look for other sources of work or find something else to do. Remember this, nobody ever regrets buying quality. Be it service or a product. I have always been around the most expensive in my area but also one of the busiest. Be the best every time.

Your right, but it is a hard choice between lower prices and a lot of work. I guess it would depend on how many repairs you are going to get out of the customer & how often.

This is where the ability to sell and judge a customer comes into play you dont want to leave money on the table but you want the business some fleets like bus or trucks you only go to every few months and do a bunch while there I generally walk the lot get an Idea how much is there and give em a flat rate to fix the bunch the tend to buy this way but if you tell em so much per unit they balk used car lots etc charge em so much per thats how they are used to doing business get the feel of the customer and price each one to what you think they will pay
