I recently ordered a few small signs to put at intersections in busy areas of my neighborhood sort of like those used by politicians anyone tried these before and had luck with them? Im really curious about their success rate.

I live in charlotte so my area's population is somewhere are 1.7 million for the surrouding metro area.... i was thinking about putting up 100 signs in the busiest intersections and hopefully get a call from 1 in every 1000 ppl who drive by that would put me into early retirement pretty quickly lol.

I would suggest you check with your local authorities on this. It might put you into early financial disater from all the fines you might get. Do your homework first.

They do not fine you but if you dont pick them up during the weekdays they will through them away so its kind of just a weekend deal.

Who exactly would you check with in the city?

in my area they have a public works building i just called and asked they are in charge of all the stuff on the side of the roads.

Thanks for the info. I am also looking into signs. If for nothing other then in front of my house. I live on a crazy busy street with heavy traffic all day & every day. I just don't want to invest a ton of money into signs that the local youth are just going to steal...I love Detroit.:eusa_danc

I saw a sign the other day that had a notice stuck to it (covering the advertised phone number) basicly saying it was illegal. I don't know if there was some sort of fine or not, but the police, I assume... did something about it.

This was at a freeway offramp in town, at the stoplight. And it was not a commercial sign either... it was jsut someone trying to sell a pool table and stuff like that.

Talk to a local city official or call ur local sign company like signs today here is a pic of the sign i posted. Also do not leave them out during the week because there are no city officials riding around on weekends and police have nothing to do with it.
