I have read many posts that talk about cold calling insurance jobs exactly how do you go about doing that? Just opening up the phone book close your eyes and point? is there certain things you should say? Any help would be nice.
Thanks

Guitardoor99x,
Are you talking about looking for business? Personaly I just go out and find a car with a chipped windshield and then I go find the person who owns it. I then give them my pitch and thats it. Sale made and job done. Yes you can pick up the phone and make calls but thats not what that post ment.

Don't get yourself into trouble by calling people randomly like that. There might be a good chance of calling someone who is on the national "do not call list". I read about a glass company a year or so ago was hit with an$80,000 or dollar fine for calling people on the "do not call list".
I don't remember much more of the detail than that.
You can call businesses, but I would stay away from calling residences. Your best bet though would be to just do the "Coitster" method. It works.
