Heck, why not? It seems like every illegal immigrant around here has a kit doing $10.00 repairs. After all they are taking the jobs we are supposed to not want.

So lets get this right hard working people come here to better themselves and you have a problem with that? considering the fact that your state was once part of Mexico dont you figure they have at least a miniscule of rights to try to live here? Try going out and looking for work instead of sitting in a parking lot and hoping it shows up and quit complaining about the guys who actually are going out and hustling to make a living. First it was the evil Safelite that was making it hard for you and now the hordes of ileagals are sinking your ship get a grip I hope I speak for everyone here WE HAVE NO TIME FOR BIGOTRY! I could care less about a guys Nationality,Race or imigration status if he works hard does the best job he can and charges a rate that will feed him and his family its all good with me. Here we are just a couple weeks after MLK in the middle of Black History month and we have some squirell complaining about some guy who lets face it you dont know what his status is he looks different so you assume hes not here legally and as far as sending $ home to his family yup thats unamerican to support ones family by working hard. Once again No place for Biggots here go away!

Well I have a different take on this one. If a person is here illegaly then that person needs to go home and get out of our country. I know this is a very heated and contested topic. I feel that if they want to better themselves they can come here by the book or fight to change their own country. Jerry the only thing I can tell you is to try and educate your customer base about those do it yourself kits and how bad they are. Or if you find a person doing chips at a fixed location or you catch them in the act of doing repairs call the police or the city and report them.

Its bad enough that we have to pay the tax's and get the permiting and follow the rules. It truely angers me when someone cheats and doesn't follow the rules. If you read the AARG magazine they have articals about calling and reporting people to make sure they have the right permits and stuff. I don't think this is a bad thing because if you are following the rules other people need too.

These people using the do it yourself kits and doing our industry a massive diservice. They make us look very bad and give substandard results. So I fully support your effort to stop them.

One more thing on this topic. I am totaly opposed to giving amnesty to illegals and I wish our government would so something about it. People that come here illegaly are breaking the law and in my mind are criminals. These people hurt our economy and have no respect for our laws. That being said I think people immigrating to our country is a awsome thing. I love the idea of someone comeing here (legaly that is) and in five years owning the whole city block. I think thats great, however I have no time or sympathy for people who want to come here and live off our system. They don't mind taking money from our schools or medical system and try to skirt the system. Those people really anger me. Now GlassStarz, I really respect you on this forum and I really like our conversations but here I got to disagree with you. I think that most people don't like the fact that illegals are here. Most national polls say that people do not want amnesty. So I support deporting illegals. Just my opinion guys. I also know a lot of people won't agree with me on this. Because we I want them gone doesn't make me a bigot.

How dare you call a fellow member a "squirell" for giving his opinion about illigal immigrants. The key word here is "illegal". They don't pay taxes, don't have insurance and abuse our laws and privileges. Our government needs to do whatever it takes to stop illegals from entering our country. Any immigrant that comes to this country legally and makes a better life for himself.....I'd be proud to have them working for me!

They don't have driver's licenses--don't have liability insurance and do not pay taxes.

The squirrel has decided someones immigration status by the way they look he has no way of knowing whether they are legal or not its as simple as that. He see someone working for a living rather than sitting in a parking lot hopefull that someone will stop and give him money (which isnt far from holding a beg for food sign in my opinion) and turns it into a diatribe about the evils of those guys sneaking up and stealing his job what is his basis for the opinion that they are illeagal aliens? they look different and dress different or speak with an accent lets get real thats called racism. last time it was the evil Safelite who plotted to drive him out of business and thus he failed. my point is quit whining and go to work stop putting the blame on others the guy in the mirror is the reason you are not making enough money
