I met a fellow the other day that had an easy up that he lettered himself and it looked pretty good. What he did was to get some vinyl letters cut out reversed so that he could make it into a stencil. Then he masked and spray painted it on. I don't know of any reason you couldn't use ordinary stencils if you maybe stuck them on the fabric with some kind of tacky adhesive like post it note stuff. I would try it on a scrap piece first.

Might be worth a try instead of paying big bucks for professional lettering. I think in an earlier post someone said that it would cost them $600 to screenprint the thing.

wouldnt banners like the ones Delta or LR sell achieve the same effect? or have one made with your info on it?

There was a question about this in a previous post. The guy wanted lettering on the canopy so he could put it up to do a job and not worry about the extra work of banners etc.
I bought the fittings and pipe for a canopy and built it to fit the space I wanted. The nice thing about this is that if it blows down or gets bent I only have to replace the parts that are bent and not the whole thing. I hang my banners from that and it stays up all winter here in Yuma. I have a 3 X 8 and a 2 X 6 and some 3X5 from LR that I use. Mostly I just use the larger ones but after about 8 to 9 years they will need to be replaced soon.
I just thought it was a neat idea and might help someone just starting out that didn't want to spend a lot on signage. I've seen a lot of printing on canopys at swap meets and craft fairs too. I think it looks pretty good.

Nomad, what type of piping? Can we get a picture without the top?
If you leave it up all season it must be heavy and not too portable.

As far as I can tell it is one inch conduit, the kind that they use for electric wires. I bought the preformed corners and stuck the whole thing together then bungee corded tarps to the top and sides. It needs to be staked down really well if there is a lot of wind and I usually roll up the sides if the wind really picks up. I don't think it weighs that much but is a lot more time consuming to put up than an easy up. You can also buy larger pipes and more heavy duty (thicker walled) pipes if you want.
I'll take a photo of it tomorrow and see if I can figure out how to post it.

Save yourself time and money. been using ez-up for two years in the brutal winds we have here and works great. you can put it up by yourself and bring it down in 10 min. really. and when you bring it down it folds up to the size of 3 ft high and 1 ft by 1 ft. dont buy it from ez-up but from academy.better price. buy your banners from delta and be done.

Here are two photos of my tent site and the kind of tent I am talking about. I tried ezup and lasted two years, not bad. But I like this place because I can leave it in place for the season. I just show up, put out signs and chairs, get coffee and newspaper and there I am.

Well, just found that my files wouldn't upload so will have to try something else. Says files are too large. Oh well.

Looks like a moon bounce.

And one other thin. If the wind was to blow into the opening it might be hard to keep it on the ground. Not to mention hot inside on a warm day. Are you looking for something permanent or temporary?
