British Standards Test Passed!

Currently, Britain and Australia have a standard ([size=-1]BS AU251:1994) for resin quality and ability to hold through a variety of different conditions. Here in the USA, we currently do not have a standard, but are developing it based on the above referenced standard. Delta Kits is proud to announce that last year we took our equipment and resin to Britain to take this test and have passed with flying colors!
This is a very rigorous test, which takes weeks to perform. It includes humidity, heat, impact, and strength testing on repaired glass, in addition to tests on the resin itself.
Unfortunately, since BSI (the testing agency) doesn't release who has or has not passed, it is up to the manufacturer to report whether they have passed or not. Many have said they have passed, but we have passed and are proving it by posting our test results directly from BSI. If your resin supplier cannot produce this document, and are saying they have passed, be wary.

Of course it passed who would have expected anything less of the best and most versatile resin on the market. Mind you I have only tried about 50 different suppliers over the years.
Congratulations to everyone involved.

Yes but guess who they would have blamed if we hadn't passed??? ME! Since i'm the one that went and did all the repairs, Brent would have just said I sucked as a technician if we hadn't passed!
So, the two month waiting for results was brutal!

Brent's not, but his father started the company...Not quite 30 years ago, but Bill probably bought it before DKI was "officially" a company. Brent's father has been doing repairs for over 30 years, so, who knows what happened back then. Only Bill & Walt
