I am currently using DecoColor and have used Elmers paint markers in the past to mark windshields. I have found that these brands just do not stand up to the elements.
What brand are you using that works well or do you use an alternative to paint markers?

I use the Elmers paint markers with no problems. All the other vendors ask what I use because it outlasts their's. I've seen my mark on cars in store parking lots around town after they been sold. Maybe it's the color you're using. I use silver.

The markers are used to mark cars on the car lot to save you time inspecting the cars so you do not spend time looking at the same cars over and over again.

We just use a fine black marker pen available from any stationers and make a feint X mark in the middle of the driver's side front wheel rim. It will wear off after a month and nobody else will even notice it there.

I use the Mean Streak dry paint marker from Sanford(I actually think sharpie bought them). Great to use, no runs like regular paint markers, doesn't come off in the rain either.

Thanks. I will have to give that brand a shot. Our weather here is close to yours so it might prove to be effective. The brands I have been using end up just leaving a faint ring of where it use to be. I was also considering mini peel and stick fluro dots. Ever try these?

I am to damn lazy to bend over;) but I guess it is another option. Thanks Eddie I will keep it in mind. I spoke with my dad today and he is not having this problem. I supply him with the same brands but a different color. Could color make a difference? Well maybe it does. He is using orange and I use white. I think someone else said silver held up as well. This topic is really trival of course!
