I have been interested in this for years, and now I am in a position to take on the challange. I am really considering doing this, and I am looking for any information that will help me. I have done chip repair with a Delta Kit at my last job, fleet of trucks, and really enjoyed it. The insurance billing thing kind of makes me wonder though. Any help would be wonderful. I also have to convince my wife that this would be worth my time. Help on that stand point would be great also.

Do a search on information billing. There's tons of information out here.

Thank you WILZ and I have been looking into as many things on the net as possible. The question I now have, do you need to become factory certified for insurance companies to work with you? I am leaning toward Delta Kits as that is what I am used to. Is there other things I should look at being a beginner?

Not to sure about this one but maybe some of the other forum members might help out on this one.

For a beginer, you have nothing to worry about if you lean towards Delta Kits.

I really don't think Factory trained means anything as far as Lynx,Mertyx and others are concerned. We are pushing for some type of training by a higher being to keep out the so called HACKS or fly by nighters.
I use Glas Weld, never tried Delta. What is the best? Chevy vs. GMC vs. Dodge vs. Ford. There is NO best but what works for you. Some are cheap in price, some are higher priced, some easy to use, some harder.

To make the pot smell, I swear by my 1986 PONTIAC FIERO SE , 6 cyl mid engine , 32 mls per gallon . Won't rust away either, all plastic body and sits on a galvanized frame. It's a 2 seater , no room for my mother-in-law. LOL.

I'd prefer anything that works for me even if it has a 2 stroke engine.

It all sounds good. Thank you all for your feed back. Personally, I am a die hard Chevy fan, I have a 71 c20 that needs some work, but is a nice truck. Ya, it only gets about 8 miles to the gallon, but you sure do get there quick if you wish. :eusa_danc
