Marketing Question

by Mr Bill
Today, I had just finished shopping and as I was getting into my car, I noticed that the car beside me had a chip on the WS so pointed it out to the lady driver and told her I could fix it for her her. She replied " Oh that!. Thats been there a long time!.
Her assumption was that if it had been there a long time it wasn't going to get any bigger.
How would you guys convince her that it would probably crack out if she just left it alone? :eusa_wall

Miss,
No problem. Here is my card. Should you decide to call us before it does crack out(they all will, it is not a matter of if, but when), we will be able to save your windshield and save you hundreds of dollars. Good luck have a nice day. Move on to the next prospect.
You can also throw in the safety risks and vehicle insp. issues depending on where you live.

Next time this happens to you , hand the person ,, the next time a rock hits your windshield...,, with your business card and ask if you're permitted to put one of the CHIP SAVERS on the windshield to prevent the chip from getting rained in .
Ask the person than to call YOU when all other 5 are used.......!?
With a ,, have a nice day and see you later,, move on.
Batt you get a call within 3 days from that person.
Keep it simple !

I ran into that same situation. This man had a truck. He said "That chips been there 5 years. Never got any bigger since it happened" You can't really argue with that. Gave him my card and said call if you have any questions.

Some people have different priorities think about how many drive around with dents that the insurance would pay for?
