I was wondering what people use. I know about ACT and edirect. I mean a program to do it yourself.

I really don't know what you are asking, but we use Quickbooks pro. for our accounting, receivables, payables ect.

Same here. Quickbooks Pro for business finances. For doing your own edi submissions I have not heard of a personal level software to accomplish this. Seems interesting though. Software would probably would be more expensive than the savings generated. Would cutout the middle man though. Most networks now provide there own edi submission area on there websites. I think Lynx is only the holdout.

I currently use edirect and like the ability to view all jobs past and present and it is very user friendly. Server just a little slow at times. Well worth the 20.00 a month at this point and need it for Lynx until they get on board with website submissions.

Quickbooks. My bookkeeper knows it & so do I. We actually have a "go to my PC" type program, so my bookkeeper has the main file on her computer and when I am slow I enter new invoices ... when I am not - she enters them...
