When inspecting a damaged windshield, How do you know if it is time to replace a windshield instead of repairing the unit ?

If you are speaking in terms of regulations, each country has a defined set of rules regarding inspection of windscreens for possible repair. Unfortunately your profile does not say your location, but in the UK it is specified by BSAU242 and BSAU251. If you are from another part of our global village call into a vehicle test centre who will be able to give you the guidelines for your part of the world and at the same time provide an opportunity for you to get more business.

When the dammage is that bad that YOU can not repair it , send the prospect to a buddies windshield replacement shop.
At least you get your referral fee / kick-back , if you have it set up like that !
