Hello To Everyone. I'm New To Windshield Repair And Want To Become One Of The Best In The Business. I Work For A New Iberia Fire Deptment In Southern Louisiana. My Work Schedule Is 24 Hrs On Duty And 48 Hrs Off Duty. This Gives Me Plenty Of Off Time To Train And Start My Own Business. I Have My Grandparents And Are 90 And 86 And Live Alone That I Tend To On My Days Off. This Does Not Allow Me To Have A Steady Part-time Job Due To There Needs. This Business Will Give Me The Flexabilty Of Both. I Have A Few Questions To Ask And Will Keep It Short Because I Know Ya'll Are All Busy Working Your Buiness Making $$$$$$. I Was Wondering If Thiers Was Anyone In This Local Area Willing To Have An Extra Shadow For A Day Are Two To Share Your Knowledge On Repairs. Second, I Am Planning To Attend Delta's Training In The Near Future And Was Wondering If Anyone That Attended The Training Has Any Feedback On Lodging In Eugene, Oregon. Any Info Would Be Greatly Apprecative. Thanks

The DeltaKit training school is held in a conference room of the Hilton Hotel.
After you have made your reservation and stay overnight, you just have to get outof bed next morning , shower, get dressed and have breakfast befor 8 AM when school starts , can't be more simple as this ! Don't forget to doggie bag , DeltaKit serves only coffee or tea , no food !

I was trained when DK still charged but lunch was included. Guess they have to cut expenses when training is free.

Received training 1 1/2 years ago. I made it a family event. I brought the wife and teen age son. Both attended training and had a blast, learned a lot and became certified. To save money, we flew into portland Airport. Being a major airport it was cheaper to fly into. Rented a car and stayed half way between portland and eugene about a 45 min drive one day to training. Traffic was light compared to east coast.

We made a trip to the shore. Simply beautiful comapred to the east coast. Visited the seal caves and aquarium. Many things to do. Had a great time!

The training was very educational and you will learn a great deal.

Good luck!

Travelers Inn in Eugene is a good low cost motel located on E. Broadway. It is very close to the Hilton (where the training is held). Several places to eat within walking distance...across from the motel is a Mexican Restaurant, Daniels, which was very tasty. The WS repair training is great. The Delta equipment is top of the line. Good luck.

Actually, there is a nice restraunt in the hotel where the training is. You don't need to go anywhere unless of course you choose too. Good Luck!
