Hi guys i was wondering what you use as a weather shield when carrying out your repairs. ive seen a "dome" that is available for what seems a lot of money and it also appears restrictive, plus once rain is on the outside of the dome it must get in the way of examining your repair whilst carrying it out! the obvious choice for me would be an umbrella modified in some way with a suction cup to mount it where you want. if like me you are doing car dealerships the gazebo option is out. any ideas?!

Best thing is to move to a State you don't have hardly any rain to deal with : TEXAS . You fold up at 4 PM , that's the time it starts pooring for half an hour, you can almost set your watch at that time . Hasta luego amigo !

That is a good bit of kit, unfortunately we have windscreens not windshields.

The bubble, although costly, is a worthwile investment. It provides good good weatherproof cover and also stops ultra violet, allowing extra work time on the repair if needed. The other advantage is, it draws potential customers to you. Everytime I use it I can guarantee someone will come to look because it is such an unusual sight.

Mine not anymore either, if you've followed my threads, I'm relocating to Costa Rica February 2008 to set up my windshield repair products importing business. Hasta Luego y Pura Vida , Ed

Cazador, it looks like CR's capital has similar rainfall amounts as does Houston. So, keep your umbrella, etc.

Bubble for me as it looks intriguing for people passing by as glasseye mentioned.
I bought 2 of them.
