Berg,
First, let me take the opportunity to apologize to you that no one got back to you after your second email. That response is being written as I write this. It is certainly not the way Glass Mechanix is intended to run, and I can assure you it won't happen again.
Now, I won't go into why you should purchase Glass Mechanix equipment over Delta Kits. I wouldn't have allowed it when I started and ran this windshield repair forum, so I won't do it now as a "visitor" to the forum.
What I can say though, is that we take customer feedback to heart, and we sincerely apologize for not responding to your email. I hope we can help you in the future with any of your windshield repair needs.
