Hey guys,

Just would like to know if anyone has any information about SSR or Premiere Paint 2000? I am looking to buy one of the systems and any input would help.

I'll visit their booth later this week at the Mobile Tech show and see if I can get the scoop.

I will be down there also. I don't think they will be there.

I just assumed they would as they have had a booth at the Mobile Tech Expo in the past, but I haven't even looked at the vendor list yet, so you may well be right.

Be sure to look me up!

melbrown17,

Did you make it to the Mobile Tech show? Premier Paint 2000 did have a booth there, and I did talk to them. Mark and Richard put up a pretty convincing argument, but not knowing anything about SSR and very little about the industry in general, I still cannot speak with any authority on the subject.

By the way, when I first read your post I thought that you meant Premier Paint 2000 sold SSR, but Mark assured me that they don't. My mistake.

hey Brent,
I was at the expo. I spoke to Premiere guys also. I was referring to Sprayless Scratch repair. This was patented by a guy named Chuck White in Texas. What did the guys at Premiere have to say?

As I said, I don't understand enough about the process to speak intelligently about it, even after talking to the folks at Premier 2000. I'm more of a show and tell guy, but did not see demos of either SSR or the Premier 2000 process.

Sorry, I'm no help at all on this one.

Did you come by our booth? I don't remember anyone mentioning your screen name, but then again I was not always in the booth, and when I was it got pretty hectic at times.

I was surprised that there was only one other windshield repair company there this year. It's a small show, but a lot of interest in windshield repair. Our windshield repair training and certification class on Sunday was very well attended.
