Gerber National Glass Services

Just an FYI....

Gerber National Glass Services, formerly known as Globe Armada, is utilizing Lynx Services to administer glass claims but payment comes out of there til. I got the impression a large portion of what they handle is fleet based. I got the impression that they are pro "REPAIR ONLY" shop friendly.

I know this to be accurate becuase I was updating my insurance coverage with them and had an opportunity to speak with Bill Dostal for a while. Real nice guy but what also was interesting about this conversation was that he recognized my company name. He asked me if I am the same company that posts on this forum. He advised me and to my surprise, reads the posts here. He did mention a few others here as well that he enjoys reading there posts but I wont disclose who they were. Should Bill want to say hello it will be his privlage to do so.

For those techs that are network friendly and those who are not, you never know who is reading your posts that may just remember you in the future.

Per my earlier thread in regard to Gerber I made the connection Gerber/Globe serviced by Lynx. I don't know if they serve very many insured in my area but I hope there will be more referals coming my way.

I have tried several times to get set up with Gerber but they never seem to add me or I have never gotten any work. They told me over a year ago that I was the only tech in the area to hurry and get in the system. I faxed all my paper work and talked with a lady and never got any work. I called and talked to someone months later and had to refax all info and she said she would add me and then call. I haven't heard anything in many months so I guess they don't like me here in michigan :( I could really use the work too. I am one of the top guys according to several insurance companies I have heard from.
