Hello!Right now i use prestone streak free glass cleaner,stoner invisible glass,klean strip glass cleaner and nason 481-20 glass cleaner.For me the best of all is nason 481-20 by dupont,It removes the vaseline and dirt like magic.Some customers ask me where they can find the "aerosol cleaner".I believe the product is very hard to find.Also the product is supouse to be use "only by profesional trained painters"."Not to sale to or use by the general public".What is the reason about this rule?Thanks for the attention.Good luck!

I use a very inexpensive product called Powerhouse Glass & Surface Cleaner.
It's a foaming aeresol and works just as well as the high end commercial cleaners. My cost is $1.00 per can and I buy it by the case of 24.

Dawn soap and water. I been using it 17 yrs. The tint shops around here use it to apply the tint and say it will not turn the tint colors. It will loosen the bugs in a hart beat and I use it on my suction cups also.
Some also recoment using news paper also for cleaning windows..

how many ounce of down soap for 32 ounces of water?thanks for the attention.

I just give it a good sqeeze like you would in the sink for dishes. and ad water. What ever you feel like adding. No set amount.
If your bottle gets low and you are in a bind just add water till you get home...

I use dawn at about maybe a half teaspoon in a quart of water. Then wipe with a mesh covered sponge and squeegee. I think having a really good squeegee helps a lot, like the ones the professional glass cleaners use. I use a 12 inch one but have to angle it to clean across the top because of the curve. Then just use it like usual for the rest. This is really nice for motor home windshields because of the size. Makes short work of it.

Side note: If you add to much Dawn to the water, Your bridge will slide to easy on the glass.

Foot note to self: More is not better on some things. Learned that a few years ago not thinking and topping off.

I might mention, the product I use is available wholesale over the internet and it is what I sell retail to my customers. Glass cleaner is an easy sell.
It won't make you rich but it'll put a few extra dollars in your pocket.

When I owned a glass shop I used to sell a product called CLEAR by Mt. Hood Chemical, and still use it at home and here at Delta Kits. It's somewhat expensive but by far the best I've ever used. I gave away a free bottle with every windshield I installed and had customers coming back for more on a regular basis.

This aerosol is safe for cars that have windows tint film?thanks for the attention.
