Received an email the other day regarding {Name or product removed upon request from manufacturer} resin and a link to some demo videos. Has anyone seen them? Pay attention to the outside repair video and how the tech utilizes the hood cover! Here is the link......{Link removed at the request of the manufacturer}

I have tried this resin and found it harder to work with than the Magnibond I use at the moment. I would suggest they certainly need to improve their pit fill resin. I would hate if my pit's ended up looking like the one at the beginning of the video. Very impressive video collection though.

I just looked at that video again, why on earth did he drill that job, the legs were massively connected. Just a good clean with a scribe or just a light grind with the drill. Another guy that does not know what he is doing or why selling windshield repair techniques, just what we do not need.

I think their videos are really to promote the resin and not so much to train on wsr tecniques. I agree that there was no need to drill but not everyone does things the same. I'm sure that in most cases, one tech could watch another tech do a repair and probably find fault with something they do differently. But there's no need to knock what someone else does....just do things the way that works best for you.

That video was showing how to do repairs outside, as such I see it as an instructional video. If there resin is that super good why do they drill? I will answer that question for you, in my opinion they do not know what they are doing. If they wish to contact me I will explain why there is no reason to drill a repair like that.

I'll have to go back into my mail. I thought there was only one video, the one where a couple guys glue back a glass table using {name removed at the request of the manufacturer}. They were soooooooo careful, it was like they were walking on glass! (pun intended). I agree screenman, I dont care for their pit resin, but still like very much their regular resin. Have been getting good results as long as I use delta for the pits
