Hey,
I also do PDR, been doing it now for about a year. We had a very nasty hail season this year so I have been doing PDR for that whole time. Hail season is now done so I am back to fixing chips, however I do PDR mobile and use it as a upsell for cars that I do chip repairs for that also have Dents. What tools do you use. I use A-1 PDR Tools

Hey guys,
How do you guys get your PDR business. Do you look for chips or dents first??? I personaly look for chips and then use PDR as an upsell. It is nice to know others who do PDR also. How did you all learn it. I went to a 6 week school.

A-1 is the best value for tools, also ebay. The process is best learned starting with one rod, a hood stand and a light stand. Don't buy lots of tools!! Much harder to learn than windshields but can be very profitable. Training with someone over a long period is best. Two weekschools don't work out well. Dent Network has a great fourm for newbies. GOOD LUCK

I went to school for a week and then practiced for about 7 or 8 months and went hack to the school 1 time. I was going to do just wholesale work but I can't get into enough dealers. Now I am trying to go heavy with retail work I am doing wsr as my primary biz and using pdr as an upsell.
