Substitute for pit polish?

Is there any substitute for pit polish.
Pit polish is nothing more than an acrylic polish, but that quality varies greatly from brand to brand. We sell pit polish by the 1/2 gallon to people in other industries, and it's no secret that Delta Kits pit polish isn't cheap. Still, for windshield repair a drop per break is all it takes, so your cost per repair is less only about a nickel.
In a pinch you may be able to find a decent acrylic polish at a plastic fab shop or even an auto parts or boat supply store.
