Anyone have a source for Midwest bur No. LA2, part No. 385104 in the great state of Northern California?

That is a dental bur. Do you use a latch contra-angle hand piece? What type of drill do you use?

Delta Kits has burs with the same head size and shape in a couple of different shaft sizes depending on the type of drill you use, but they do not have the notch in the end for the dental hand piece.

FG2 and HP2S are the Delta Kits part numbers if you want to see photos on our website. Click on products, then carbide burs, then scroll down until you see the part number.

I have a couple of dremels, but my collets are too big for the friction (smooth) -type of bur. I think I've found a source here - I'll check back if it doesn't pan out. Thanks

Dremel does have different size collets if you are interested in trying to change it. I pick mine up from either Walmart or HD. I get the package with 4 different sizes in it for $5.

When we sell a Dremel drill we always include the right sized collet for the FG (small shaft) style burs, and we also sell the collets separately. The HP2S has a larger diameter shank that fits one of the larger collets, but they are a little more expensive so I usually recommend the collet change and the small shaft burs.
