I am a career GW tech but have never tried any other. I have heard great things about the Delta system and would love to try a Delta injector at some point. Is there anyone out there that's used both and has a umbiased opinion of how they compare?

thanks

Gbrad,

Obviously I am not unbiased, but I would invite you to come to one of our free training classes at your convenience. The methods are very different, so in order to give a fair comparison you would first need to be properly trained on the Delta Kits system, using Delta Kits methods. We supply all the equipment, supplies and a practice windshield, so all you have to do is find the time to attend. There is no purchase necessary, and no pressure to buy anything from Delta Kits. In fact, if you attend a Delta Kits training class you will have the option to take advantage of our 30 day no risk guarantee.

Unfortunately members of the windshield repair forum are a little nervous about posting comparisons between these two brands do to the controversy over an advertising campaign gone ugly. Hopefully that will all blow over soon and things can get back to normal. In the end it will all come down to your personal preference.

If Brent would send me a Delta injector I would be pleased to do a side by side AFTER I had been using the Delta injector for a few repairs.

That's a good one Eddie! I get lots of offers from people who would like to help me with my research in exchange for free product, but I wouldn't be in business long if I gave everything away now would I? You are however welcome to purchase a Delta Kits injector for your comparison.

As I have said many times, you need to be trained on the system you use, and that is especially true if you have been trained on another system previously. In our training classes we often find that technicians who have been trained by other companies or have used other systems previously, tend to lag behind the rest of the class. It's not that you can't teach an old dog new tricks, it just takes a little longer.

I have invited you to our free training classes on several occasions, but you have never been willing to make that commitment. You are happy with the equipment you use, and I have no problem with that, but I really do hope you will pay us a visit one of these days.

Funny thing is Glas-weld have never made me the same offer over here.
