I am new at WSR....doing good with bulls and stars even with legs, but long cracks......very difficult I find....resin does
not flow through crack even though I felx, use heat etc..Have watched video several times...Trouble seems to be the
numerous moves required of the bridge. I attempted several times to allow resin to flow down the crack a 1/4 inch or so
then apply more resin as i follow the crack....still not filling....Maybe I should use a crack spreader???anyone have any ideas
here...thanks jerry

We don't recommend moving the bridge, but there are many different methods of crack repair. I rarely use a crack expander, but at times they do come in handy. You will likely get a lot of advice here that I disagree with, such as sliding the bridge, moving the bridge, using multiple resins, etc., so if you are interested in Delta Kits recommendation it's probably better if you give us a call. Depending on the products you are using we can walk you through the process we use and see if that works any better for you.

Regardless of the method you use, long crack repair takes time to master, and even the most experienced technician runs into trouble once in awhile depending on the age of the break, the amount of contamination, etc.

Flexing, using heat during the injection process, and moving the bridge are all things that can make it difficult to properly fill a crack, but again depending on the equipment and resins you are using the recommended procedure may be different.

Your best bet is to call Delta.

Thanks for the response.I do use delta and will call on monday and ask for HELP. Just for info...it was probably a crack that a newby shouldn't attempt....6 inches down from top edge then cracked left and right and went down 3 more inches..Good news it was on a freinds p/u and I had told him he needed a new windshield..The bulls and stars came so easy I just figured this crack would be a piece of cake....I WAS SOOO Wrong....lol thanks

The age of the crack also has alot to do with it. The fresher, the better. The Straighter, The Better, also, the thinner the resin the better when following the crack.
