Practice Screen Stands

I am thinking about building a stand for my practice screen. Just wondering if any of you have done this and if so, can you share some pictures of your setup? I was originally thinking PVC but I am open to suggestions. I am tired of using my mechanics rolling seat to do repairs while the screen leans up against the garage wall.

Roo, we use various stands in our training room, supply me with your email address and I'll be sending you some images.
You may wish to send me the details via the pm option here on the board.

The part number is WS100 and the price is $55. They work great for the 20 x 20 practice windshields we use but like I said, the wood ones work better if you will be varying the size of the glass, and really look nice as well. We don't sell them as we don't have an in house wood shop and there is not a big enough demand for them to have massed produced for us.

okay, I haven't been able to locate flat squares like you guys use in training....wish I could. I need something that will support an entire windshield. Looks like I am headed to the Home Depot for some PVC!

Just go down to a glass shop and ask for flat lami glass at what ever size you want. they may even give you their cutoffs. It also makes a good time to get to know them and what you do.

Good idea. Those are the kind of ideas that can set you apart from your competition. Keep up the good work.
