I almost exploded!!!

I googled FREE Windshield Repair, I seen a title that caught my eye!
It read..... FREE Windshield Repair, What's the catch?
Inside some 2 guys are chatting back and forth and this one guy asked "What's the catch? The other guy replied,
"There is a catch "Its FREE but wait! Don't let that temp you to move foward and let the little 'ol guy under the tent repair it, unless you want your insurance to go up due to
Excessive claims being filed"

Then he goes on to say there aren't any technicians out there that still accept "cash"
So on and so forth!

But what struck me was when he mentioned this guy to go to his local parts store (autozone) and grab him one of those do it yourself kits!!!!
What you have got to be kidding me! I go there (autozone) and sure enough they have a DiY kit $19.95
Its a syringe with a hose, some sort of adhesioned disk and a plastic vial of resin(which may I add had a brownish tint)

Ok so if that didn't floor me enough this guy goes on to say that "those guys who do the "FREE WSR"
The chips that look like a star never look good"

Ok so I couldn't figure out a way to reply to this knucklehead tot give hm a word or two about what I just read.

When he said that, He's basically calling out every WSR technician out there which he. Just lit a fire.
See 1 bad mouth , sours it for the whole team!

The do it yourself stuff has been around for years I thought anyone with a car knew about it? I'm waiting for the do it yourself brain surgery kit myself
As far as the dribble on some chat or so called auto repair sites I don't pay much attention to them consider the source fortunately this site has a admin who steers the kooks away and does his best to keep the board on its stated purpose of promoting the trade and sharing of techniques and ideas

Don't take that stuff personal, it'll drive ya crazy!
