Hi guy's & girl's
I have just received my delta kit and have been practicing on an old windshield I have. I am doing good but I will not go out and start doing it for others until I am very good. I work full time and do tub and tile reglazing on the side so I can't fly out to delta for some of there training which I would love to take advantage of. What I am asking is there any certified techs closer to here (RI) that may be willing to take me under there wing for a day or two. I am not looking for someone in RI that I would be taking work from and I am not looking for a fee ride I understand you time is worth something. I keep reading old wisecrack news letters and this forum and boy can I say there is a lot more to it than go shoot resin in it and go.

P.S Thank you to Delta For the Info sent and the phone call in case I have questions 1st Class Customer Service!
Thank You,
ecratrods

You might contact Brian Fenner, or SGT as he is known on the windshield repair forum. Brian lives in PA. He is also Delta Kits certified, NGA certified, NWRA certified, recipient of the Mobile Tech Windshield Repair Person of the Year award, and took second place in the 2008 Windshield Repair Olympics. Brian is a great guy and has been known to do some training when he can fit it into his busy schedule.

There is no one in Michigan that can train you for a Delta Kits certification. You must attend Delta Kits Factory Training and Certification Course in Eugene, Oregon or attend one of Delta Kits On The Road Training Courses to become Delta Kits certified.
