Guys wanted to get your opinion on my new vehicle.I did have a 01 honda accord with a 4 cylinder but the transmission died for second time so we baught 2010 Rogue.My accord was lettered on the sides and the rear windshield was also but I really did not get that much business from the lettering.My rear w/s of the Rogue is very small so I am not sure that it would be worth fooling with.Most of the guys here do not have anything on their vehicles but I like to have something to identify me and seperate me from the rest of the pack.I am leaning to using magnets on the sides and maybe some lettering on the rear bumper.

Get your self a good tag line to set your self out in front of the others to be remembered and use that. I would letter the car and have a card holder on it also. As you are in a mall or store you are getting lookers...

Ebay has 4-color 24x24 custom printed magnets for cheap! My next work vehicle will be full lettered up...not a wrap though as they are quite expensive. You can save some money by having the sign shop cut the vinyl and you install it. Its quite easy just take your time. I'm sure there are videos on youtube showing how its done.

My truck has magnetic signs on the doors, a wrapped tailgate, vinyl lettering on my rear window, and a business card dispenser on my rear window.
People see my truck and call me.
I definitely believe in using my vehicle for advertising.

Mr Bill and justchippenaway are right. Your car is a great advertizing aid. You should use it in your advantage. jmho

Bill, by all means letter your vehicle. I drive a Ford Excursion which is also my RV tow vehicle with dark windows. I travel and work all over the state of Texas. All my windows behind the driver are lettered with large, bright letters. You can read my message a block away. I also wear a logo shirt, Jacket, Cap. I'm a billboard every where I go. My wife's car also has magnetic signs so we can remove them if we want. Advertisement is the only way we have to promote our type business and it WORKS.

Thanks guy for your input.I do agree with what you are saying.My other car was lettered.I also wear my logo on everything because I really like to be as proffesional as possible.I averaged only 1-2 jobs a month off of my car advertisment.Most of my work is fleet and word of mouth but I will take it anyway I can get it.

I have my rear window on my Ford SUV lettered, and 2 door magnetic mats in color ($25 for both) on the side of my vehicle & my wife's bronco. I didn't get calls for a few months and now all of a sudden Iam getting 1 or 2 a week HLR or WSR request. I've pulled over out of traffic several times to check a WS or HL because someone following me called on my cell #. A doctor last month call me while I was in another city for a hospital appointment. I looked at his BMW and returned to do his HLR a few days later. You never know in this business where your next job may be generated. I did see one of the post that they attach a card holder for business cards near the lettering for potential customers while the vehicle is parked. I have people tell me they see my ad a lot while Iam out shopping or driving around town on business. The one thing they have questions about is "what is headlight restoration?". They understand WS chip & crack repair. candyman
