Hello,
I have been doing windshield repair now for about sixteen months and loving it. This forum has been a great help to me with giving answers to problems that i have had. This is the first time a could not find the answer maybe I just didn't look in the right places.

I had one of my repairs turn glossy or glassy looking is the only way to describe it not cloudy. I will describe the conditions of that day it had been snowing all day and when i did the repair it was a sprinkling very very very lightly with the sun showing. The First thing I did was wipe the water off the windshield then i drilled a hole and put my birdge on with suction and heated up the area with a heater that plugs into the car lighter. My first thought was that I heated it up too much but a friend of mine doing this for 18 years said no that it was possibly a chemicle reaction with the resin, i did do another repair about 16inches away and it was perfect.
Do you any of you agree with my friend about the chemicle reaction or do any of you have any other ideas.
Thanks
Tip :?

First, you should have used a drystar to remove all of the moisture fron the break.
Applying the injector to the break in vacuum mode and then heating the break from the inside just makes the moisture mix with the resin in the injector.
