Windshield Repair Forum

Hi folks,
I've just joined this great looking forum, and I'm trying to weigh up the benefits of being a Tech out there on my own or being part of a Franchise.
If you are part of a Franchise, they take care of the insurance paperwork.
So the big question is, how is this done if you are on your own?
Do you send in the invoices yourself........and are they paid?
or
Are there any Agents who do this for you?
