Another Newbie Joins the Club

I am new to this forum and just received my Delta Kit earlier this week. I managed to get a damaged windshield (Free) from a local repair shop to practice on. I watched the video, studied the booklet and read this forum. But, there is nothing better than getting personalized training. Although I am scheduled for the training class later this month, “Mr Bill” from this forum, was very generous to come to my house and give me some “hands on training”. We spent the afternoon making various chips and cracks in the windshield and then repairing them. Mr Bill showed me tips on repairing the chips, drilling, heating/cooling the windshield and filling those surface craters too.

I think this forum is great because of the wealth of information that is passing between the technicians and guys like Mr Bill who unselfishly shares their knowledge and experience with a newbie like me.

I enjoy checking in and reading all the post, but generaly keep to myself. So, I thought I would jump in in order to get more privileges on this sight, seems kinda silly, but I'll play the game.

Welcome to the forum.
