Hello everyone,This is my first post on any WSR forum, although I've monitored several over the years.Currently its down to Delta & another much maligned forum. This forum is the best!Lots of opinions resulting in some really useful information. This post by gaf is an excellent example of such info(thanks Jeff for the link).I have been doing repairs for almost 9 years.Do not do insurance work yet.Class 8 trucks(owner/operators) are 95% of my repairs & its all cash business. In the future I plan on going after automobile owner business (I share the sentiments of some others when it comes to the carlot crowd) & this forum is helping me prepare. Thanks everyone for making this the "learning place" for WSR techs. Thanks Jeff for keeping the content focused on the business aspect of WSR & not allowing personal attacks or competitor bashing. You can add Farmers to the list depending on their comp ded too. If it's over 350 or 500 (If I recall correctly) no waive on chippies.

In AZ, Farmers will wave the deductable if your deduct is 150 or below or if you have a glass by back with your policy.

Location, Location, Location.

Glass Guy:

Farmers in Oklahoma waives the deductible if the insured has a $150 or less deductible and glass package. Texas Farmers waives the deductible with no requirements other than the need for full coverage.

In Texas it's a 200 dollar deductable or less to cover chip repairs. It is also handled through safelite.
