Which business parks work better for those who go B2B? I find the office setting doesn't seem as receptive. Thanks for your responses. Hope this summer is going great for everyone.

It depends what you are seeking If you are just wandering into buisnesses and introducing yourself and handing out cards they wont be real receptive you fall under the No Soliciting that the boss tells them to follow you might pick up some buisness but the kill ratio is way down
Have already wanderer the lot and made a list of cars needing your service walk in and ask the same receptionist who owns the Camry or who is in charge of the Trucks you get a whole different response. SALESMANSHIP!!!! Do it this way and %80 of the time you get to meet the right person and should kill over %50 I like the small buisness parks with under 20 cars out front MFG plants not so good the people cant leave the assembly line use common sense

I have a female sales representative that presents very well. She goes in a explains who our company is and what we do. She explains that we professionally repair windshields and restore headlights and as a common courtesy our technician has examined the vehicles in the parking lot. We just wanted to make you aware of the damage and to explain the benefits of getting your windshield repaired and headlights restored. She leaves them with our contact information and explains how long the process takes. Some people take advantage of it on the spot and others follow-up later. The most they have ever done is one day is 9 headlight restorations and 12 windshield repairs.

Thanks GlassStarz and pickmaster60! It makes sense to stay away from the companies that are really big. I have encountered strong resistance from security and gatekeepers. Also, it is harder to find the owners of the vehicles with damage. I will keep plugging away.

If you are going to be in a area the next day go to the parking area of the bigger places and leave a card on the cars with damage. I write a brief note on the back saying "Working in the area tomorrow can fix your chip while here $35 reg $65 call me
you will get several calls this way while you are canvasing the smaller places in the area

GlassStarz,
Do you really have to cut your prices that much to get the business? That's almost half price, I can see ten dollars maybe, I guess I'm not as generous.

salesmanship make em think there is a urgency 35-45 is the real number for a im already in the area repair 65 if I have to drive somewhere you can replace just about any glass here for 100-150 5=8 repairs at 35-45 in the 3-4 hrs a day I work is fine with me and pretty easy to do if several have called from the day befores cards. Cold Call is easy and yes sometimes you do a low priced repair but often you pick up 75 from the next one so they all balance out. figure out how much you need to make and then go get it.
